Radha
Radha became a qualified Integral Yoga teacher in 1995 and since becoming a devotee of Sri Swami Satchidananda (Gurudev), has strived to lead a life dedicated to service. Radha loves Integral Yoga because of the variety of ways it can lead us to the experience of oneness, bliss and peace. In particular Radha has a passion for Karma Yoga, meditation and especially Bhakti yoga which allows the expression of devotion through chanting and puja.
From 1996-1998 Radha served as a Karma Yogi at Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville, putting into practice Gurudev’s teaching of “Love All, Serve All”. She assisted with Teacher Training programs in Yogaville’s Academy and organised staff schedules for the ashram.
Radha has taken extra Integral Yoga training in Intermediate and Gentle Yoga and has participated in a course to teach yoga to people with ME. Gentle Yoga is Radha’s real passion as she has a keen desire to allow the benefits of yoga to be accessible to everyone regardless of age, physical limitation or illness, both in group sessions and on a one to one basis.
Radha is currently serving as one of the Directors of Integral Yoga Dorset
and organises the monthly Satsangs, bringing together teachers and students
alike to share in the beauty of yoga. If you would like to become more involved
with the Satsangs please feel free to contact her.
